Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
In short: you must be 18 or over, you may hold one account, you answer studies honestly, and we pay you what a study says it pays once your submission is approved. Everything below is the detail behind that.
These terms are the agreement between you and PaidSay (“PaidSay”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of PaidSay and everything on it. By creating an account — whether with an email address or through Google — you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
1. What PaidSay is
PaidSay is a marketplace. Researchers publish studies and set what each one pays; participants take those studies and are paid for completed, approved submissions. We operate the platform, review studies before they go live, and handle payment. We are not your employer, and taking studies does not make you an employee, worker, partner, or agent of PaidSay or of any researcher.
PaidSay is not a job and not a guaranteed income. How much you can earn depends entirely on which studies exist, how many places they have, and whether you match what a researcher is looking for. We do not promise any number of studies, any frequency, or any level of earnings.
2. Who can join
To hold an account you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be resident in a country we are currently recruiting from (this changes as studies come and go, and the sign-up page always says which countries are open);
- give information about yourself that is true, and keep it up to date;
- hold one account only.
Which countries are open is a matter of where paid work exists, not a judgement about you. If your country is closed when you try to join, it may open later.
3. Your account and verification
Before you can earn, we ask you to complete several steps:
- Verify your email address.
- Complete your profile. Researchers screen on demographics, so this is what matches you to studies.
- Pass a short English assessment, because studies are written and answered in English.
- Verify your identity with a government-issued document and a selfie, handled by our verification provider.
Identity verification exists because we pay real money to real people. It is how we keep one person from running several accounts, and it is a condition of being paid. You choose whether to go through it; if you decline, you keep your account but cannot withdraw. What happens to the documents themselves is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for your password and for anything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access to it.
4. Taking studies
Each study shows what it pays and roughly how long it takes before you start. Some begin with screening questions; if your answers mean you are not eligible, the study ends there and it is not counted against you.
When you take a study you agree to:
- answer honestly and in your own words;
- give each question genuine attention rather than clicking through;
- finish within the time limit shown;
- submit once, and not retake a study you have already completed;
- keep study content to yourself — questions, materials, and your own answers are not for sharing, posting, or discussing publicly.
Studies may contain attention checks: questions with a knowable correct answer, placed to show whether responses are being read. They are a normal part of research and are not a trick.
5. Approval, rejection, and pay
Submissions are reviewed before they are paid. A submission is approved and credited to your balance when it is complete and shows genuine engagement. A submission may be rejected where, for example:
- attention checks were failed;
- answers are empty, nonsensical, copied, contradictory, or machine-generated;
- the study was completed impossibly quickly for its length;
- screening answers were untrue in order to qualify;
- the submission came from a duplicate account, or from an account misrepresenting where it is.
Rejected submissions are not paid. If you believe a rejection is wrong, email support@paidsay.com and we will look at it again. We would rather correct a bad rejection than keep it.
6. Getting paid
Approved earnings build up as a balance. You withdraw when you choose to, subject to the terms below.
| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Payout methods | USDT (TRC20) and Litecoin (LTC) |
| Minimum withdrawal | $10.00 |
| Platform fee | 5% of the amount you request |
| Network fee | The blockchain cost of sending, passed through at cost |
| Processing time | Within 24 hours of your request |
| Between withdrawals | 72 hours |
| After changing your payout address | Withdrawals pause for 24 hours |
Both fees are taken out of the amount you request, so the figure shown as arriving is the figure that arrives. The pause after an address change is an anti-theft measure: if someone takes over an account, it gives the real owner time to notice before earnings can be redirected.
Payouts are made in cryptocurrency, and you own the address you give us. Check it. A transaction sent to an address you supplied cannot be reversed, recalled, or refunded by us or by anyone else, and we cannot recover funds sent to a wrong or incompatible address. The value of a cryptocurrency may move between your request and its arrival, and that movement is not ours to control.
You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn, and for declaring it where you live.
7. What ends an account
You must not:
- hold or use more than one account, or use somebody else's;
- use a VPN, proxy, Tor, or any other means to disguise or misrepresent where you are;
- use bots, scripts, or automation to find, take, or complete studies;
- sell, rent, share, or transfer your account;
- give false information during sign-up, screening, or identity verification;
- copy, republish, or redistribute study content;
- attempt to break, probe, or overload the platform, or to reach data that is not yours.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where a breach means earnings were never genuinely earned — a duplicate account, automated submissions, systematic dishonesty — those earnings may be withheld. We will tell you what happened and why, and you can reply to support@paidsay.com. Earnings that were legitimately earned remain yours and can still be withdrawn.
You may close your account at any time. Withdraw your balance first if it is above the minimum, because closing ends access to it.
8. If you publish studies
Researchers using PaidSay additionally agree that: studies are reviewed by us before going live and may be declined or sent back; the reward offered must be genuine and is paid to every participant whose submission is approved; studies must not collect more personal data than the research needs, and must not ask participants for passwords, payment details, or identity documents; and participants' responses may only be used for the research purpose described.
9. Content and ownership
Studies, questions, and materials belong to the researchers who created them, or to us. Nothing here transfers them to you. The answers you give in a study are provided to the researcher who commissioned it, for the research purpose that study describes.
The PaidSay name, look, and software are ours.
10. Availability
We aim to keep PaidSay running and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw parts of the platform, and we carry out maintenance that occasionally takes it offline.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that: PaidSay is provided as it is; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or lost opportunity, for studies you were not offered or did not qualify for, or for loss caused by an incorrect payout address you gave us. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the earnings credited to your account in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice — by email, or in the platform — before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use PaidSay after a change means accepting the updated terms.
13. General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing something immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours if the business is reorganised or sold.
